LA BREA PART DEUX

More fun on La Brea..... We popped by Jet Rag's dollar Sunday sale (it's every Sunday am 9-5) and then had some lunch at
Sante La Brea. It's a healthy lil restaurant where you can get anything substituted with tofu :)
Our omelettes were amazing but the mystery green drink above, was well, not so much.... it's definitely interesting though lol.
There are so many beautiful art galleries and lighting places. There's definitely more fun places to discover, one day is not enough :)

I heart LA BREA

Hello lovelies. So my hubby and I spent our Sunday together, walking around La Brea Ave. There are so many quaint boutiques, art galleries, and fun places to eat that we couldn't do it all in one day. The above photos were taken at The American Rag and The Denim Bar, which are two of the most fun and unique shops.

The American Rag is connected to two other stores. They carry unique pieces from a number of the latest designers, in addition to a beautiful selection of vintage finds, accessories, and shoes. I love how they merchandised everything as it made it really easy to navigate. I had a hard time walking away from their jewelry display though, haha. They definitely have way too many great things to look at!

If you are in the area, these are a must. I will definitely be back. I didn't leave completely empty handed though..... I finally found the cutest leopard/zebra combo scarf which I have been on the look out for.

Lately my style has evolved from bohemian to a more pulled together, classy look. I still like some of my bohemian pieces, I just gravitate more toward ladylike staples with an edgy twist.
I will rock a distressed boyfriend jean, throw on a pretty cardigan, and an edgy shoe. It's still me just less. Less IS more.
