Wardrobe Staples

Classic pieces. I have always been drawn to classics. It's fun to mix and match high and low fashions once you have some great staples. For me, the staples are the foundation of my wardrobe. Don't get me wrong, I love trendy pieces, I just spend a lot less on those things and buy fewer over the years. I have really learned what I like from my background in wardrobe styling. My version of classic is a bit more bohemian and laid back.

Here is a list of my staples, my go to pieces that I rely on time and time again:

1. Boyfriend jeans (can dress up or down)
2. Scarves (print, solid, lightweight)
3. Round toe black pumps
4. Basic wedge shoes
5. Grandpa cardigans (black, beige, white, purple)
6. Oversized gold Michael Kors watch
7. Long solid maxi dresses (great with cardis or denim jacket)
8. Dark skinny J Brand jeans (with ankle zipper detail)
9. Medium everyday bag (mine is a taupe Marc by Marc Jacobs)
10. Black leggings
11. Gray loose tank (perfect for colorful statement necklaces)
12. Colorful, fun statement necklaces (F21, H & M, flea markets)
13. Beige belt (H & M has an amazing selection)
14. Taupe boots (goes well with black and brown)
15. Little gold, charm/beaded bracelets

Guilty Pleasures

Hello, I know I have been a bit MIA lately. I have been very preoccupied with our new home and sorting through some things........ but I am back. I miss writing and blogging as it's very satisfying and inspiring. I was thinking about some of the guilty pleasures I enjoy, some guiltier than others, and thought why not jot it down.
Here are some fun things that make me happy..... At the top of my list is my amazing hubby, family, and friends..... here are some other great things :)-

Dark chocolate. Lots and lots of DARK chocolate

A ritual. Love watching each episode. Every time.
I cannot wait for the movie sequel!!!!!

I LOVE to GOOGLE!!! I find myself googling all the time..



This is my fave fashion magazine.. I read it cover to cover and enjoy their
articles on fashion and how it evolves etc....

A beautiful vanilla (nonfat) latte.. ahhhh


I am not much of a drinker.. I don't really even like the taste of alcohol. I do LOVE
Muscato, the best dessert wine ever.



Loved this book since I was in grade school.. like reading in bed under the covers

LF. My favorite boutique.. when they have their sale, and I mean SALE, the entire store is 60 % or more off and their clothes are truly unique.

Hello All

Hi everyone, I am back! Wow it seems like forever since I have written anything for my blog. I have been busier than normal and didn't have internet for nearly three weeks! (the longest I have ever gone)

My husband and I recently moved into our new home and I couldn't be happier. We have tons of unpacking to do still but hey, Rome wasn't built in a day. It is spring, one of my favorite times of year, and the air feels light and fresh. We have a lemon tree in our backyard which I love, whenever we cook or want to make fresh lemonade. It's been an amazing experience since the first night we moved in.

I have really enjoyed my lil break but I look forward to writing new posts and taking new photos about everything and anything not just fashion.

After trying so many products, I have finally gotten my "everyday" makeup staples down. Don't get me wrong, I love going to Sephora and trying new things, but having go-to staples are so much easier and convenient.
I'm also obsessing over this new top I got at the LF sale for 60 % off. Loving it. (that sale is still going on but I am tapped out)!
